Our first contact is via email, and if a mutual interest arises from this conversation, we can set up a trial lesson. The  30 minute trial lesson is free of charge. If we decide to go ahead with regular lessons after this initial consultation, the frequency of lessons obviously depends on your goal. However 2 lessons per month is probably the minimum required to achieve meaningful results.

As with everything, practice makes perfect! You will definitely progress a lot quicker with weekly lessons, as this kind of regular practice works extremely well to build muscle memory and help with information retention. This in turn is vital if you want to build a solid technique. Note that If you’re in preparation for a performance, audition or recording, you may need more regular teaching.

RATES
Irrespective of whether lessons are taken weekly or bi-weekly, they are scheduled as a course of 4 sessions, at a total cost of £275, or a block of 10 lessons at £667. The standard rate for 1 hour of teaching is £75, but there’s an automatic 10% discount on multiple booking sessions of 4 or 10 lessons.

Please note: There is a minimum 36 hour cancellation period required, otherwise I will have to charge for the lost time and lost alternate bookings. No exceptions, sorry!

Some Health & Safety considerations:

• If at all possible, I ask that you leave your shoes by the front door – slippers are provided!
• Because of ongoing plumbing issues, bathroom is not available for clients, sorry for any inconvenience.
